“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Psalms 103:7

God seeks to show us His ways and not just His acts.

It is of
extreme importance for a Godchild to know God’s ways because your work
with God is a walk of faith. In your walk of faith, there are going to
be times when His acts would not be evident but your knowledge of His
ways would keep you going.

In your work with the Lord, there will be
hard times; there will be times where it seems you have been left alone.
In such times, only your knowledge of His ways would save you because
your knowledge of God produces faith that would keep you forging ahead.

A Christian who always seeks the acts of God could be likened to
the children of Israel. They refused to move until God shows them a sign
or a proof of His mercy, power, and goodness.

Psalms 25:4 says, “Shew
me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.” David knew that the ways of
God are more important than His acts. Little wonder, Psalms 27:11 says
“Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine
enemies”. For you to know God’s ways, you have to be taught, directed,
led and Lorded by His Spirit resident in you.

The acts of God
are also important because a child of God needs to know the workings of
God before he can know His ways. When you walk in the ways of God, you
can never go astray. The dispensation we are in now is a typology of
Moses dispensation. The life of Moses is a typology of our lives now.

God wants to walk with us by revelation of both His acts and most
importantly, His ways.

DECLARATION:
I am constantly walking in the ways of God and in the knowledge of Him. I am lorded by His Spirit.

SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE:
Psalms 67:2
