“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

In every kingdom, there are principles. In the same vein, in God’s
kingdom, there are principles that functions in it.

From our opening
text, we see that God relates with us in seasons. God deals with season
and man deals with time. No season is ever the same. For every season,
there is a different challenge.

Every season comes with a whole
new package and experience for the God-child. But as these seasons run,
there are stages in between them.

These stages are referred to as
transition period. Every man who has a walk with God must experience
this transition period. At this stage, a lot of Christians begin to
question their salvation.

The transition period is a dangerous time in
the believer’s life. A lot of Christians fall out of the faith during
this period. It is that time where it seems like God is not there
anymore; you feel like you are losing your fire and passion for the
Gospel. Apostle Paul refers to it as the unguarded hour of a man’s life.

Two things are necessary to get you through that transition period:

Your commitment and your faith. You get committed through your 3T’s:
Time, Talent and Treasure. When you commit your time to God, you go into
covenant with Him. The devil does not bless anyone with a talent, only
God does.

If you want to beat your transition stage, you must
put your talent to work in God’s house. A kingdom must make use of your
talent; either the kingdom of God or the kingdom of the devil.

Lastly,
when you give your treasures to God, He rebukes the devourers for your
sake (Malachi 3:8-12).

Your faith also sees you through your transition
period. When you are strong in faith, you have an assurance that you
would make it through this stage. You trigger your faith when you begin
to speak what God’s Word says.

Believers are likened to the
eagle. The eagles also experience the transition stage; they go to a
very high mountain, pluck out their wings, and break their beaks and
their claws. It is really painful. But you know what, after the period
is over, they come out better than they were before.

If you can make it
through that transition stage, you are getting better than you have ever
been.

DECLARATION
I am committed to the work; even as I serve with my time, talent and treasure. I am making it through my transition stage.
