“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” Philippians 2:9
God has given Jesus a name / an identity that is above every name – not
some names or 99% of every name – but above every name.
Literally the
name of Jesus isn’t just that name; this is because there are persons in
the world who bear that same name Jesus but their names have no
authority.
The name of Jesus the Christ is an authority;
it’s a place. It’s “in Him we live, and move, and have our being”. So
when the scripture says He’s been given a name above every name – it
invariably means that Jesus has been given an authority / a placement
above any name or authority you can think of. He is “far above all
principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is
named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.”

MORE: About Pastor David Okoye, President, Ambassadors Word Ministries
Lots of believers tend to exhibit fear when faced with seemingly tough
situations.
In whatever form it comes, you ought not to be scared for
you are now identified with the Son whose name is above every name.
You
are joint-heirs with Him and have become one with Him. He is the Head
who isn’t separate from His body (you). For if any man is in Christ
(whom all things have been brought under His feet), he has automatically
inherited that name (placement / authority).
As long as the situation
has a name, it does not matter how long or short. It has been placed
under you. Whenever oppositions rise in front of you, always learn to
call them by name.
If the situation or condition does not have a name,
give it one. For in so doing, you subject it under The Name which is
above every name. And, it doesn’t matter if you have been physically
threatened by the highest powers in your government or place of work
either.
You have the highest Authority in Christ. So go ahead, and speak
with authority over that challenge today.
DECLARATION
I am a joint- heir with Christ and fully identified with Him. I have been placed above all challenges no matter its name.
