Friday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet 30th September, 2016) – Grow And Improve Yourself

Share this story:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which
is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1

The beauty of a youthful man is his strength and necessity is placed on
every man to make use of this strength and there are only two ways a
man can use that strength, it is either he uses it for God or the devil.

Over the centuries there has been a battle of commitment over the life
of everyone that has ever lived. But unfortunately, while people sign up
for the devil and improve to increase the spread of their gospel, the
God- child signs up for the service of the Lord and doesn’t apply the
same principle.

Life itself teaches that at every time there has to be
an up- grade or improvement on the model of almost every thing, Nothing
ever remains the same, through out the course of it’s life. Every
thriving business ensure they up-grade their product to meet the demand
of the market consistently. In this same way, a Child of God in his
place of service has got to be flexible.

Where you are today and
the progress you’ve made so far is directly proportional to the things
you’ve been doing. And so you cannot keep doing the same things and keep
expecting a different or better result.

God meets you at your place of
service, so ensure that in your place of service, you always offer the
best. Never serve God and get to a point where you think you have
reached the zenith. And, never give God a criteria to serve Him.

Serve
unreservedly.

DECLARATION
I have the right mind-set in my service even as i give my time, talent, and treasures to the spreading of the gospel.
