“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come” John 16:13
The MSG rendering puts our opening text as “but when the Friend comes, the Spirit of truth, He will take you by hand and guide you into all truth there is. He won’t draw attention to Himself, but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, out of all that I have done and said.”
The Spirit of the Lord in your life is your access to the very best in life. He is the one to lead and guide you into all truth. Truth refers to reality. And the truth is the Word of God. This means that, the truth is whatever the Word of God has said about your Life.. The Spirit of God is the one that transports you to your wealthy place.
Little wonder 2 Corinthians 4:7 tells “but, we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”The Spirit of God in you is your treasure and His counsel is invaluable “for what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of a man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”1Corinthians 2:11-12.
The day I came across this scripture “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21.
My mentality changed completely, I realized that the Spirit of God could literally direct my steps. In all your affairs, let the Spirit of God direct you today and your life will take on a different dimension.
