Scripture tells us
that God showed His acts to the children of Israel but to Moses He
showed His ways. (Psalm 103:7) And for the new creation, God’s ways are
more important than His acts.
When God is dealing with you based on His
acts, it is an ignorant way of serving God. Knowing God’s ways is
important.
This is how we become more productive. Our Christian life is
one based on giving. There could not have been salvation, without the
giving of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the reason why the devil will
greatly fight against your giving; he knows how important and
instrumental it will be for you.
Look at Philippians 2:5-9”Let this
mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form
of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of
no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in
likeness of men:And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled
himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given Him a name which
is above every name”
You see, the sacrifice of Jesus is the greatest
sacrifice that can be offered. Christ gave up Himself; submitted His will
to that of the Father because of the mind- set (mentality) He operated
life with. God wants us to think like Jesus.
To find out His thinking
pattern and approach things in that manner. He wants us to think and
process information in that manner.
There is a mentality for the
God Child.
The quickest way to know a man’s mind is in the consistency
of the things he says.
For the God Child to know the mind of Christ then
we have got to check His Words. All through scriptures we see the
consistency of the Word of God.
The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of
prophecy and the spirit of prophecy has been. So His idea from the
foundation of the world can be known.
What is God’s idea of giving? Does
God understand giving in lack? Is there a way God wants giving to be
done? What does God do with the giving, the giver and the receiver?
Search the Word today so that in them you can think that you have
eternal life.
