“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
One of such is TRADITIONS. Jesus said in Mark 7:13, “Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
Hebrews 12:15 says, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled”.
Bitterness also has the ability to neutralize God’s Word. Bitterness defiles a man so much so, that the Word of God would not prosper in his hands.
Everything God has spoken would surely fall to the ground, when bitterness is firmly rooted in the life of a man.
For every time you choose to hold on to the hurt, there is a denial of grace. The grace of God is embedded in His Word. If you hold onto the hurt, there is a denial of God’s Word on your life. Proverbs 14:34 says, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”
Sin can also cripple God’s Word in the life of a man. Sin is not pleasurable; it is a reproach.
Sin is a curse.
When you sin, you activate that curse on your life. God’s Word can never be productive in a heart where sin is. Refuse to neutralize God’s Word in your life. The Word of God has been spoken; make sure it produces in you.
God’s Word is producing in me. I do not neutralize the power in God’s Word in any way.
