Living a righteous life is the easiest thing one can do. If God does not find it difficult being righteous; then the God child ought not to find it difficult to live righteously. This is because every God-child automatically has the life of God functional/ at work in him.

From our opening scripture, we see that if only a man can submit himself to the righteousness of God, living righteously would cease to be difficult. Psalm 23:3 says,
“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
Righteousness has a path. Every path is not the path of righteousness. The above text shows us that God is the one that leads us in the path of righteousness.
When you choose to lead yourself, all you are doing is establishing your own righteousness; in other words, practicing self righteousness.
Righteousness is a gift.
Scripture tells us in Romans 5:17 says,
“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”
The day you decided to make Jesus the Lord of your life, you received gifts. But every gift you by received was founded on just one gift – The gift of righteousness.
The first gift a God child receives from God is the gift of righteousness. The gift of righteousness is the foundation for you to access other Spiritual gifts. When a man gives you a gift it is not because you deserved it, but because the giver of the gift deemed you fit and worthy for that gift.
You are not righteous because you are qualified to receive righteousness but because God deemed you worthy to receive this gift. This is the truth of life.
Recognize the gift you have received and take advantage of it. You are God’s righteousness in Christ. You ought to reign in life because you have received the gift of righteousness.
DECLARATION
I submit myself to the righteousness of God. The righteousness I have received is not based on my works/actions; it is a gift I received from God. Glory!

Righteousness is not acting right but standing right. Righteousness is a gift. We have come to realize in the part 1 of this topic, that we are righteous not because of our actions but because we have received the gift of righteousness freely from the Lord.
If a God-Child does not recognize and take advantage of this gift, the devil would take advantage of his ignorance and destroy him with condemnation.
Condemnation could be referred to as sin consciousness. It is worse than the act of sin itself. It moves one out of the way to rule in life. It is a cage that keeps a man bound. When sin consciousness rules a man, the Christian race becomes difficult for him. When the sin mentality functions on a man, he cannot have a perfect work with God.
The gift of righteousness is the only thing that can destroy sin consciousness. When you maximize the gift of righteousness, living right would be an easy feat.

The only way to use the gift of righteousness is with your mouth. Righteousness has to speak in a particular line. Romans 10:10 says,
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
You activate the gift of righteousness on your life by confessing the righteousness of God over your life.
Confession is not just the words your mouth speaks. Your confession is the agreement of your mouth and your heart. That is, as your mouth speaks the Word, your heart agrees to what is being said.
The more you confess rightly, the more the devil loses hold over you.
Take a look at that thief crucified with Jesus. All he needed was one confession to cancel out all the crimes he committed all his life. He submitted himself to the righteousness of Christ and his confession followed. Your words would justify you.
DECLARATION
Sin consciousness does not function in me. The devil has no hold over my life because I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST!
