I have come to love the scripture that says,
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8.

The AMP rendering says,
“…the reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo
(destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].”
And yet the MSG renders the underlined part as,
“The son of God entered the scene to abolish the devil’s ways.”
This is absolutely beautiful and outstanding. What more does the God-child need, to know that his life should not be ordinary? As the son of the most high God, you are specially designed for good works; just like Jesus.

We have in every fiber of our being that special ingredient (Zoe) that makes the difference. Our Lord Jesus said,
“these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” Mark 16:17-18.
In the new creation the prayer of our Lord Jesus in our opening text was answered. The God-child is the one that ensures that the will of God is done on earth, just as it is in heaven. In other words, the God-child brings heaven to earth. He refuses to let the devil run rampage and cause strife, death, enmity, and destruction in the world, because as he enters the scene, he abolishes the devil’s ways. This is who you really are.
The day you believe on the Lord, you will cease to be ordinary. The AMP rendering puts the underlined part as,
“And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe” ,
Showing that the God-child ought to stand out in his generation and time just like our Lord Jesus.
God expects you as His child to take the life, environment, atmosphere of His kingdom life and reflect it on earth, hence the phrase “thy will (life) be done in earth as it is in heaven” Don’t lock up the life of God in you, in a shell; let it flow through you and be manifested in the world.
DECLARATION
I am living out the kingdom life within me, letting the world see and glorify my Father which is in heaven.
