“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” Jude 20

Our opening scripture makes us understand that for every time you pray in the Holy Ghost, you add blocks to your faith building.

Scripture makes us understand in 1 John 5:4 that our faith is equal to our victory. It says,

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

Your victory cannot be greater than or less than your faith. Your faith guarantees your victory. If you want more victory, you have to get more faith and one of the ways to get more faith is by praying in the Holy Ghost.

Decide today to add up something to your faith life every day.

Take a look at the underlined part of our opening text, “…building up yourselves”. Notice the world ‘building’ was used. This shows that the building process is continuous. It is not a day in, day out affair, it is an everyday thing.

You have got to be consistent with building yourself up. Through the above scripture, it is clear that the only way you can build yourself is by building your faith.

When you pray in the Holy Ghost, you stir Him up. You make Him active and excited. In the process, He exposes uncommon knowledge to you.

1 Corinthians 14:2 says,

“For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”

The AMP rendering says,

“For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].”

For every time you pray in unknown tongues, the Spirit of God takes the knowledge of God and dumps it in your Spirit. You get access to a hidden wisdom of God. When this wisdom starts operating in you, you would know, because there is a glory attached to it.

God exposes Himself to you when you pray in the Holy Ghost.

I constantly stir up the Spirit of God. I refuse to be stunted in the building of my faith.

1 Corinthians 14:2-4; 1 Corinthians 1:25
