Sunday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 17th SEPT, 2017) – Faith it

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:22-23

The MSG rendering of our opening text says,

Embrace the God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain for instance: Just say, ‘Go jump in the lake’ – no shuffling or shilly-shallying- and it’s as good as done.

The concept of faith still sounds abstract to a lot of Christians. Faith is a reality.

The subject of faith is truly amazing. Faith is the confirmation of the things we hoped for. Everything in life is operated by our five senses. Since faith perceives real fact which is not revealed to the senses, it means that faith moves ahead of our five senses.

Faith does not produce the natural but the spiritual; it does not talk about the things that are seen but the things which are not seen.

Nothing is impossible for a man who lives by faith. Faith has the ability to accomplish something that a normal man can never do.

Faith is something that should run in the life of every Christian on earth. Faith never fails.

Take a look at Jesus; He lived the faith life here on earth.

He didn’t work by perception, but by faith. Faith is the only thing God responds to. He doesn’t respond to feelings or emotions.

Faith moves you in the direction of God. God expects that we operate in faith at all times.

For every time you accomplish something in life without faith, you lost something bigger. God does not look at you by your prayers; He looks at you by your faith.

Faith attracts God.

Take a look at Abraham; scripture tells us in Romans 4:20,

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God… 

Abraham’s faith was so strong that it attracted God. Faith is induced by God’s Word: the Word of God produces faith and faith always speaks the Word of God.

Your faith is your victory.

DECLARATION:
I faith it till I make it. Nothing is impossible for me because I walk in faith.
