And the LORD answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Habakkuk 2:2

The start-point of your success in life is in you having a vision. As you develop a vision, you are to make it plain (that is, write it in a detailed manner) so you would be able to run with it.

Always write down your visions; make it plain!

A vision that is written down is a vision that is on the pathway to success. Whatever you write down is penned in your heart.

Let your vision occupy your mind’s faculty. Until it occupies 90% of your mind, you would not be able to run with it.

Isaiah 30:8 says,

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever.

You write down the vision so you can always see it. There is a principle of seeing and becoming. What you see has a way of making you.

A wise Christian would protect his environment because he knows its benefits. What you think of is a product of what you see. (Genesis 30:31-39)

After developing the vision, you must be consistent with it. Luke 9:62 says,

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Consistency is the ability to remain steady in what you are doing. Consistency requires that you do not change the idea but you change the methods of achieving the idea.

It requires you to be steady in your assurance even if methods would change. If your vision would become a reality, you have got to be consistent.

Consistency amounts a larger fraction of your success in life. Whatever you are not consistent in, you cannot succeed in it.

Consistency is an attitude of heaven. Scripture says in Proverbs 6:6,

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.

The HCSB rendering says,

Go to the ant, you slacker! Observe its ways and become wise.

One of the traits to imbibe from the ant is its consistency. Never get satisfied with a level of success. Never feel too comfortable with what you have achieved. Your success has no limit.

DECLARATION:
I’m running with my vision. I am consistent in all I do. I always strive for more.
