By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth Psalms 33:6

As we study the Word of God today, let us for a moment or two, put our imaginations to work. Think on the most incredible and amazing sight, you’ve ever come across in all your years. We all have seen that one thing, that made each of us say “wow! God is amazing”

A greater thing to note today is that, that amazing thing we have each seen as individuals are only glimpses of God’s entire creation. Our human minds may never be able to completely fathom this truth; yet, the above text tells us that everything we have seen and know, was created by the Word of God.

1 Peter 3:7 further explains that the heavens and earth, were not just created by the Word of God, but are also kept in store (in place, inform) by the Word of God. Also, we see in Psalms 33:9,

For He spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

Glory to God!

As sons of God, we have been given the right weapon to fight our battles-the Word of God. It is quick, powerful, infallible and does not return void.

What situation do you face today? What is that challenge that seems to overwhelm you and challenge your faith? Speak God’s Word over it today!

The same Word that holds the heavens and earth in place, is able to bring peace and order to your life. Speak the Word and only believe. If God has said it, it will surely come to pass.

My life is held in place by the Word of God; As the Word of God standeth sure, so shall my life be. No matter the circumstance, I speak peace, order and stability.
