Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts – Isaiah 28:9

Yesterday, we saw that the undertone foundation for the prosperity of a Godchild is more spiritual than it is physical. That is why in life, when a man starts progressing and he is not on either side, forces would start fighting him.

You would find out that every wealthy man has taken side with something. This is because all prosperity answers to an altar.

Through our opening text, God is telling us that if only you can learn knowledge and understand doctrine, you would know his ways, and know how to apply His life and principles in situations you face.

When the children of God were on their journey to the Promised Land, God provided for them through manna for 40 long years. But scripture shows us that immediately the children of Israel got into the Promised Land, God stopped providing manna for them.

Yes, He was still a provider, but His level of provision shifted to the works of their hands. God expected them to work with their hands; for He would prosper that which they do.

You see, most Christians want to remain in the wilderness all their lives: where God would be making miraculous provisions for them. They have no plans, yet they expect to grow.

The covenant of the blessing is now dependent on the works of your hands. Take a look at the proceeding verse of our opening scripture,

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.

This is a principle that stands the test of time for God. His Word must be precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little. God sees the world (from the inception to the end) in parts; He doesn’t see it in the process. This means, when God is talking about the world to you, He doesn’t talk about the process. So when God says His Word is here a little, and there a little, He is talking about parts; here, being the past/present, and there was the future.

Little wonder sometimes, you read something in the book of Genesis and see its confirmation in the book of Revelations. This is because of the ‘here a little, there a little’ nature of the Word of God. This makes the Word of God ever living, sustainable in all generations, and infallible. So, the covenant that God spoke to His children, thousands of years ago still holds for you.

DECLARATION:
I increase in the knowledge of God’s Word. I follow the Word precept upon precept; line upon line; here a little, there a little. I am the blessed of God!
