Tuesday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors WOrd Diet, 7th NOV, 2017) – Expel Darkness!

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places Ephesians 6:12

Do you know that the world you live in, the things you see, touch, feel, and handle, are not ordinary? There is a control factor over every environment.

The physical things you can relate with are controlled by things you cannot see with the physical eyes, or with a microscope.

There is a realm that controls our environment.

In other words, for everything you see physically, there is a manipulation in the spiritual realm that triggers it for you to see. A Christian who understands this is on the path to success.

This is because he has come to realize that if he can change things in the other realm, it would change in the physical. A lot of individuals are unaware that there are manipulations upon their lives that make them the person people see. Jesus said in Matthew 12:29,

Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. 

There is a strong man in every land and in every natural being. If you would make progress where you are, you must have to bind the strong man first. Understand this; these strong men are not of God; they are affiliated with the Kingdom of darkness.

Daniel 10:13 says,

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 

Here is an angel of God, held bound by a strong man. It took Archangel Michael, to have him released.

You cannot be a successful soul winner, and live a successful Christian life if you do not learn to bind that strong man. Know this; no matter how much you preach to a soul, if you do not bind the strong man, your words would fall on deaf ears.

2 Corinthians 4:4 says,

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Until you deal with the god of this world in their lives through your place of prayers, they would be unable to receive the Good news. Let us spoil the house of the devil; give no room for darkness. Expel the works and forces of darkness wherever you find yourself.

Live as the light that you are!

DECLARATION:
I illuminate the world! The works of darkness can’t hold me down. I live as the light!
