Honour the Lord with thy substance and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. Proverbs 3:9

In life, the truth has to be said for the lie to be known a lie. A lie can appear as the truth until the truth is spoken, recognised and acknowledged. And a lie would appear as truth especially if it has been upheld over a long period of time.

Know that a lie is not just the opposite of the truth, but a perversion of the truth. There can be elements of the truth there, but it has been perverted and made into something it is not.

The Lord speaks to us through the voices we are familiar with, (one example is Samuel). The Spirit of the Lord works closely with your conscience but God does not submit to your conscience. The conscience of every man is impressionable.

Every giving a child of God gives to the Lord, honours the Lord. It shows the honour you give to Him. Do not honour God by the thoughts of your heart, honour Him by the instructions. You honour the Lord in your life in only two ways:

  • Obeying His Word
  • By our Giving

God operates by the economy of heaven. Every sustainable economy pays by your value. In the same way, heaven pays you by your value.

Did you ever read? Give and the value, pressed down and shaken together shall be given unto you. You do not have anything that God needs. You give to be blessed.

There has never been and will never be a man, who gives with the right heart living in lack; it is impossible.

There are some that are always asking from the Lord and do not receive. But, there are some who do not ask anything of the Lord but receive and abound. The latter honour the Lord, while the former does not. Choose where you stand today.

I am a son that honours the Father. I am a giver of life and substance. I know no lack because I am a cheerful, prompt to do it, a giver.

Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:7
