Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in Him purify themselves just as he is pure – 1 John 3:2-3(NIV)

The process of purification and refinement is a trial by fire. God will put the 3rd part through the fire. You’ve got to be purified by the Word of God. Trial by fire does not refer to literal fire but the Word.

The opinions of your peers, boss, colleagues, friends and even conscience cannot keep you in check long enough. It is the love of God that constrains us.

Always ensure that your life matches up with the dictates of the Word of God. You’ve got to remember that the Lord is coming soon and stay ready.

As a Godchild in this dispensation, you cannot be comfortable in impurity. Do not think that there is a level of impurity that is beneath you. Every man has the trace of purity in him. That is, they can discern right from wrong.

What differentiates you and the worst sinner is the grace of God on your life.

The trace of purity in him is so entangled with dirt that he cannot tell the difference anymore. You’ve got to stand your ground and refuse to compromise at every turn. Especially in our world today, be the light that shines in darkness; the city of God that is set on a hill, and cannot be hid.

I stand my ground today. I refuse contamination. I stay ready for the Lord.
