Let patience have her work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing – James 1:4

Proverbs 19:2

 …he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. 

A faithful man shall abound by his blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent – Proverbs 28:20.

The AMP rendering of our opening text puts it thus,

but let endurance and steadfastness and patience have a full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing

2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells,

All scriptures is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works

Refuse anything that is not of God in your life. For even in the midst of trials, it works for your good. When a God-child understands this, in his/her way to meeting God’s demands he will let God’s Spirit and patience shape him to perfection.

Patience has a work to do in the life of the God-child for him to live a successful, victorious, and fulfilled life.

DECLARATION: 
I choose to let Patience have its perfect work in me. i am thoroughly furnished unto all good works and I refuse anything that is not of God in my life.
