And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God – Luke 9:62

The MSG rendering of our opening text says,
Jesus said, No procrastination, No backwards looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.
This shows us that procrastinating is the reverse of being consistent.
Consistency is the ability to remain steady in what you are doing. Consistency requires that you do not change the idea but you change the methods of achieving the idea. It requires you to be steady in your assurance even if methods would change.
Every successful man has got to be consistent. Consistency amounts a larger fraction of your success in life. Whatever you are not consistent in, you cannot succeed in it.
Consistency is an attitude of heaven.
Procrastination is a sure way to poverty. Poverty and want will certainly come upon those that are slothful in their business.
If men neglect their affairs, they not only do not go forward, but they will go backwards. Spiritual poverty comes upon those that are slothful in the service of God.

Scripture tells in Proverbs 6:6-11 to learn from the ants. The ant is a remarkable creature of foresight, industry and economy. No insect or animal is more laborious than the ant.
One of the traits to invite from the ant is consistency. The ant is so consistent. They never get satisfied with a level of success. They never feel comfortable with what they have achieved.
Be like the ants; be consistent. Your success does not have a limit.
DECLARATION
I am consistent in everything I do. I refuse to feel comfortable with where I am.
