WELCOME TO 2018!! It is a New Year! I’m sure you had a glorious 2017. One thing I know for sure is that this year is going to be a lot better than the previous. God is set to increase those who are for Him; those who have decided to take up the call of reconciling men back to God this year. But as you get into the New Year, it is important that you know what God expects of you.

God sees every New Year as a new beginning. He sees it as a new season; a new ground to sow on and gain harvest from. However, it is important that you know that God would not tear down a previous work to start another.

Let’s take a look at the proceeding verses of our opening text;

In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto a holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

No reasonable man builds a house by removing the blocks underneath to place a block above. This means that every year is like a block; each block is necessary for the building to be in place. Every block serves as the base of another.

Entering a New Year doesn’t mean that the Word of God concerning us for the previous year expires. So we might be in 2018, but we are still functioning in the supernatural; we are still experiencing heavy abundance; God is still promoting us; we are still displaying his glory; and we are still experiencing extraordinary expansion.

Every of our past season is a building block to our current season, and seasons to come.

This year, God is set to grow His church, and honour the man diligent in the work. For all those who are diligent in the work of God, God has placed a grace on them; such that men would be obligated to honour them.

He would expand those who are faithful, and pour out His blessings to the ones that have made His course theirs.

It is a New Year, and God is set to do great and mighty things to and through us. Don’t be a spectator this year; don’t be a Sunday-Christian. Take up the call, and get involved in the work. This year isn’t the time to make excuses; it is the time to make moves! Don’t let anything rob you of God’s Word this year.

DECLARATION
Lord, I’m making progress this year. I stay faithful to your course. Nothing would take me out of the faith. This is my year!!
