Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18
It is important that as Christians, we do not do things because the world does it, or because our intelligence and the media tell us it is right. Your intelligence shouldn’t be the determining factor of your actions. We ought to do things based on a revelation granted from the Word of God through His Spirit.

The first place God identifies you as His own is in you having a vision.
The word, perish, as used in our opening text doesn’t mean to give up the ghost; rather, it means to be separated from God.
The YLT rendering uses another term to replace the word, perish. It says,
Without a Vision is a people made naked, And whoso is keeping the law, O his happiness!
When a man has no vision, he is stripped of his armour, and exposed to imminent danger. Your vision is your covering; your security; your wealth, survival, and life.
A man without a vision cannot be fruitful. Matthew 6:22 says,
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
The body typifies the life, and the eye typifies your vision. A man without a vision is a man living in gross darkness. Such a man can never be fruitful; as a result, becomes alien to God; as God has no relationship with those that chooses to be unfruitful.
The fruitfulness of your year is tied to you having a vision, and letting your passion propel you into its actualization.
Your vision is like a rocket. The distance the rocket would cover is dependent on its propellant. In lay mans term, how far a rocket will go is determined by the fire that thrusts it into space.

Everyone on earth has a passion for living. If the passion you have for life is directed towards your vision, you would make tremendous progress. Going back to the text read earlier in Matthew 6:22, we see that if the devil wants to crumble a man, he brings up many visions.
If your vision is focused on one thing, your whole body would be full of light. This shows the importance of consistency. There are so many that are not consistent with their visions. 90% of the success you would make out of your vision is based on your consistency. Don’t end at getting a vision; plan and work towards it. God would make you run with it!
DECLARATION
I am consistent with my vision. I develop step by step plans to achieve it. My passion is pushing me into the actualization of my vision.
