Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed…which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, Romans 4:16

The subject of faith is one that we just can’t but talk about. This is because everything we do is centered on faith; everything we do in Christendom hovers around the subject of faith.

We are Christians because of faith.

For the next couple of days, we will be learning about the faith principle. It is impossible to live victoriously as a Christian when you do not apply the faith principle. You cannot get anything in and from God when you do not apply faith. Faith is not only the currency of heaven but the language of heaven as well. It is the only thing that God responds to.

The devil knowing this would do anything to ensure that your faith is tarnished.

The world and everything in it would always want to condense your faith. Little wonder, scripture admonishes us to fight the good fight of faith. This is because your faith is your victory (1 John 5:4). If your faith is equated to zilch, then you have no victory.

A faith-Christian is automatically a victorious Christian.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your faith is on a perpetual increase. Your faith must be found in the words God has spoken. If your faith is not inspired and enthused by the Word of God, then it isn’t faith.

Faith cannot be present where the Word of God is absent. The same way you can’t get water without the combination of Hydrogen and Oxygen, you can’t get faith without the Word of God and another very important element; grace.

Take a look at the first part of our opening text,

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace… 

You see, there is an inception of faith and the perfection of faith. The perfection of faith is the faith Abraham functioned in; it is the fullness of faith. Grace is the means of transportation that would take you from the inception of faith to that fullness of faith.

Acknowledging and utilizing the abundance of grace makes you arrive at the perfection of faith. The promises of God towards Abraham only came to fruition because Abraham received in faith, and utilized grace.

For the Word of God to become a reality in your life, it must be of faith, by grace.

DECLARATION
I am a faith living Christian! My faith is on a steady increase. I utilize the grace of God; therefore, I arrive at the fullness of faith!
