Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. Righteousness exalteth a nation… Proverbs 14:33-34
The MSG rendering of the first part of our opening text says,
Lady Wisdom is at home in an understanding heart- fools never even get to say hello.
I love the MSG translation. It shows us the practical of the Word of God in a very droll, witty and
intriguing way.

We saw yesterday that wisdom would only settle in a heart where understanding lies. A heart that has understanding is a heart that has the capacity for wisdom to settle in. We read the MSG rendering of our opening text today to pinpoint something very important.
You see, wisdom is a person; a Spirit. If you are an adroit student of God’s Word, you would know that most times when the person of wisdom is talked about, the feminine nature is recognized.
The MSG rendering refers to wisdom as a lady. This isn’t intended to be comical; rather, it shows us something. Wisdom is represented as a female because of its ability to reproduce and procreate.
When wisdom functions in a man, that man would automatically become productive. Wisdom expresses itself not by will or choice. That is, when it gets into a heart that has understanding, that being must move.

It expresses itself by reason of it settling in a heart that has understanding. How far and how quick wisdom would take you is dependent on how much understanding you have received. Poor understanding of the Word would bring to halt or decelerate the motion of wisdom. Understanding is bottled up in the Spirit of God.
To gain access to this understanding, the God-child just needs to activate the Spirit of God in Him. That is, stir Him up to the point where He becomes active and begins to dish out the main dish to you.
Romans 8:26 says, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” When you pray through your human self, you limit your understanding.
But when you pray in the Spirit, there’s no holding back to the understanding you have access to. The Holy Ghost would transcend your human mind and grant you an in-depth understanding of the Word.
DECLARATION
My understanding is limitless! I am productive all year round because I have wisdom and understanding. I do not alter the motion of wisdom.
