Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
I was perusing through the internet recently, and I came across something trending on one of the social media platforms; WWJD. This means What Would Jesus Do? At first, I really didn’t give thought to it. But then, the Spirit of the Lord took my attention back to it, and I was super blessed.

If every Christian on earth could have this question not just at the back of their mind; but in front of it, there would be no room for darkness. Before you take an action before you make that statement; before you take that decision, ask yourself, what would Jesus do if He were on earth today?
You see, you are an extension of Christ on the earth. Scriptures record that He is the head, and we are the body. We are the representation of Jesus on the earth, and He is our representation in heaven.
Without Him, we are incomplete; and without us, He is incomplete. Little wonder, Romans 8:17 says,
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
When people see us on the earth, who they should see is Jesus. Can your speech, your dressing, your attitude, and all that concerns you be traced back to Christ? You are called a Christian for a reason. The word, Christian, was first used to address the Apostles in the book of Acts.

It means to be Christ-like. So if you are taking up the name, Christian, you must take up the identity of Christ. Have you ever thought to yourself why Judas was required to kiss Jesus? He had to do so because they couldn’t tell the difference between Jesus and His disciples.
Even after all the miracles, He had performed, and all His teachings, they still couldn’t tell who Jesus was. This is the place we have to come up to as Christians; where the world cannot differentiate between us and Christ.
It starts with you asking yourself this question, What Would Jesus Do? When it seems like your day isn’t going as planned, do you think Jesus would get upset, and begin to spread negativity to all those around Him? When someone gets on your nerve, do you think Jesus would curse, or throw a punch?
When in the midst of sin, do you think Jesus would keep calm, or would He reprove every work of darkness? Friends, choose today, to not just be an example of the believer; but an example of Christ.
