For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things 1 John 3:20
The HCSB of our opening text says,
Even if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience, and He knows all things

Whenever I read the account of the woman caught in adultery in John 8, I always ask the same question.
The Pharisees were recorded saying,
This woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
(Verse 4) Where then was the man? If she was caught in the very act, she must have been caught with the man. How come only one party was condemned to die?
Even in our time today, we are quick to judge others and condemn them without full knowledge of the situation. We are quick to classify some as the low-life of our society and neighbourhood.
We often hear statements like ‘so and so’s daughter/ or son is the problem in this neighbourhood; he is a crack head/ menace/prostitute/ drunk etc. There is always that one person even at our place of work or class, who is ridiculed and persecuted for the single reason that he/she is different.
It breaks my heart to see God’s children among and even at the forefront of such hatred and persecution. The Pharisees at the time, where the devout, God-fearing men in the society and they condemned Jesus.
But look at the response of Jesus to this woman. He was the only one qualified to condemn her. But instead of condemnation, He says,
Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.
Oh! I love Jesus. He addressed the root of the problem.

You see, the problem was not that she was a sinner; the problem was that she had the nature of sin. And that release from the hold of sin was all she needed to walk in the light.
Look at the proceeding verse. Jesus says
…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of Life.
Hallelujah!
Be like Jesus today. Do not go about condemning people. Be the light. For God hates the sin, but He loves the sinner.
Declaration
I am an outstretched arm of God’s love for humanity. I do not condemn, but I correct in Love. I am like my father; I show light to my world. Hallelujah!
