Therefore, we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight) 2 Corinthians 5:6-7

Christianity is more than a religion; it is a way of life. Christianity is a lifestyle that always produces. That is, a Christian is one whose life must be an evidence of productivity gotten through the Word of God.

But know this; the only way you can produce through the Word of God is by adding faith into the equation.

Everything you do and achieve in your Christian walk with God must be a product of faith and not your own capacity. If you relate with God based on your capacity, you would lose more than you know.

There is always much more to do for God when faith is added.

This brings to mind one of the miracles of Jesus. When He fed over 5,000 with just 5 loaves and 2 fishes, He had to add faith into the equation. His capacity could feed just a boy; but when faith was added into the equation, over 5,000 were fed with a surplus of 12 full baskets.

The resources in your hands do not define you; it limits you. Faith is limitless! Personally, I’ve had numerous testimonies of things I have achieved, simply because I added a little bit of faith. Don’t let the resources be your prime focus.

The resources you need would eventually come by reason of the steps of faith you take in that direction.

Our life as Christians is a walk of faith, and not sight. Sight, as used in our opening text, doesn’t literally mean vision. It means senses (sensory perception). Your sight and your faith would always be contradictory.

Your sight perceives what is; your faith sees what is not. A Christian who puts his sight ahead of him loses much more.

Every of God’s Word you hear, you are to receive by faith. This is because faith always produces.

1 John 5:4 says,

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Your faith is equivalent to your victory. Once you subtract faith from an equation, defeat is paramount to happen.

But it is important to note that the faith process is incomplete without works. James 2:26 says,

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

The faith process can only be complete when you act.

DECLARATION
I walk by faith! I am not controlled by my sight, environment, or senses. I backup my faith with works always.
