Ambassadors Diet Daily Devotional, 9th April – True Salvation

Share this story:

“..and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24

Before the death of Jesus, true and eternal salvation seemed an impossible feat to be accomplished by man. This is due to the fact that the most needed ingredient for the work of salvation which is the blood of Jesus, had not been shed.

By his death on the cross and the shedding of his blood, salvation became possible and available to man, such that all man needed to do to access this salvation was to believe in and confess the Lordship of Jesus over his life, as cited in Romans 10:9-10.

Hebrews 9:12 tells us, “He went once for all into the Holy of Holies of Heaven, not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood.” (AMP).

This is why those who have come to accept the redemptive work of the blood of Jesus and now live as sons of God don’t look forward to eternity with fear or doubt but with peace.

Salvation carries along with it a package of peace to those who accept it, and this
peace radiates all around them.

If you’re still unsure of your eternal destination or haven’t made Jesus your Lord, you can do that today and experience the peace that passes all understanding.

DECLARATION
This day I declare the Lordship of Jesus over my life and I accept the
redemptive work of his blood in my life. I receive eternal life today and
therefore declare with confidence that I am saved.
