A video has surfaced online showing a soldier with his troops saying Fulani Herdsmen as been killed and would never come back.
‘We have burnt all their camps’, the soldier said.
Nearly 1,700 violent deaths have been attributed to Fulani herdsmen in attacks carried out between January and September 2018, in Nigeria.
“Thank God for a successful operation, We have killed them all, Fulani Herdmen have gone and they will never come back. We have burnt all their camps”
“We need chill beer after any successful attack my course mates are everywhere clearing doubts…we must give them the standard. Children wey say deir mama no go sleep, they won’t sleep either we have lost a lot of good men but we are not that sad, we are happy because they will always be in our hearts…operation-peace-must come back to our father land..insha Allah and Amen”
The raids by nomadic Fulani herdsmen are considered as the biggest security threat facing Nigeria after the Boko Haram insurgency.
