The Nigeria Super Eagles will play Senegal and Zimbabwe in friendlies ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria will host the Warriors of Zimbabwe on 8 June in Asaba before facing a star-studded Senegal in Egypt eight days later.
“There cannot possibly be a better way to get into the AFCON spirit than playing the number one–ranked team in Africa just before the finals begin,” NFF president, Amaju Pinnick said after announcing the friendly games.
The three-time African champions, Nigeria, will open their campaign against Burundi on 22 June and will also play Guinea and debutant Madagascar in group B.
