President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after a 10-day of the planned 11-day “private visit” to London, United Kingdom.
The president returned on Sunday with a Boeing 737 Business Ajet with registration number 5N-FGT, which conveyed him. The plane left the Stansted airport in London at about 12:20 pm on Sunday.
Buhari had travelled to London, a day after commissioning the 10-lane Oshodi–Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road, the 170-Bed ‘Ayinke House’ (Maternity Hospital) at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja; the Oshodi Transport Interchange and 820 mass transit buses.
The Nigerian leader had been criticised by the opposition for travelling without officially handing power to the vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo, as constitutionally required.
