Four Nigerians arrested over kidnapping of Canadians in Ghana (PHOTOS)

Four Nigerians were among ten suspects arrested in Ghana over the alleged kidnap of two Canadians girls recently.

The two Canadian ladies were in Ghana on International Volunteer activities and they were kidnapped in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region after they stepped out of their hotel room where they were lodging as they perform their activities on the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

The suspects, who are yet to be identified, kidnapped Bailey Jordan Chitty, 20, and Lauren Patricia Catherine Tilley, 19, who were volunteering in Ghana.

They were held at a house at Akyease in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti region.

The Police have so far arrested 10 persons in connection with the kidnapping.

They include four Nigerians. Another Nigerian is also on the run, according to JoyNews.
