Victor Moses Fenerbahce position under threat

victor moses fenerbacheFormer Super Eagles forward Victor Moses may be losing his place at Turkish club, Fenerbahce, following the arrival of Deniz Turuc, according to a report on Turkish newspaper, Fanatik.

Turuc, 26, joined Fenerbahce from fellow Super League side Kayserispor for €2m this summer and will compete with the former Nigerian international for the right wing spot.

Fanatik reports that Moses, who is currently on an 18-month loan deal from Chelsea, has not been impressive in pre-season training.

He featured in 14 Super League games, scoring four goals last season.

The report also added that Turuc showed quality in training with more effective deliveries from the flanks than the former Stoke City and West Ham star, which pleased coach Ersun Yanal.

Moses starred for Chelsea under Antonio Conte winning the Premier League title and the English FA Cup during the 2016/17 and 2018/19 season before he was frozen out of the Blues squad under Maurizio Sarri.
