Presidential task force on COVID-19 arrives Cross River state on fact finding mission

A delegation of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 has arrived Cross River State on a fact-finding mission.

The team led by Omobolanle Olowu arrived the Margaret Ekpo Airport in Calabar and were received by the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Beta Edu who is also the Chairman of the State Task Force on Covid-19.

In an interview, Olowu has described their visit as “Scoping Mission in Cross River”. They are to visit the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH and the Treatment Centre in the State.

The team is expected to also visit the Obong of Calabar and possibly the Governor of the State, Professor Ben Ayade after interaction with members of State Task Force on Covid-19.

Cross River State has not recorded any positive case of Covid-19 since the index case was reported in the country on February 27, 2020.

  1. I want to beg our govt to stop wasting our money that could create a better employment for the poor ones and young graduate nation wide
    The fact remain that covid19 in Nigeria is a scam
    Our politicians making money and increasing hardship in the nation
    Plz again I want to beg the govt to free us from this bondage, since you can’t feed us kindly allows us to go out and find something to eat please
