Nollywod actor Azubuike Michael Egwu or simply Zubby Michael has renounced Nigeria as he declared himself Biafran.
The actor made this known on his official Instagram page. In the controversial post, the actor also claimed to have gotten a Biafra passport.
ASB News gathered that the actor made the statement after a fan applauded him as all-time greatest Nigerian actor.
The annoyed actor replied to the fan as he declared himself a Biafran.
“Address me as a Biafran and not a Nigerian, I now have my Biafran passport with me, “ he wrote.
The actor is widely known by Nigerian media for his controversies. On 25 November 2019, he was appointed into a political position as the Special Adviser on Media to the Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano. He was awarded a certificate of recognition for his contribution to the City Radio 89.7 FM youth empowerment initiative in Anambra State.
