Soldiers, policemen killed governor Zulum’s convoy attack by Boko Haram

At least 30 people including soldiers and policemen died when Boko Haram ambushed the convoy of Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, on September 25.

The attack which happened between the Monguno and Baga areas of the state also left many injured.

A Commander of the Civilian JTF, Muazu Alhaji Misiya on Sunday, September 27, shared photos of the soldiers and policemen killed and wounded in the attack.

“Fallen heroes. Rest in peace,” he captioned.

Meanwhile, ASB news report that another set of Boko Haram terrorists laid ambush along Monguno- Maiduguri axis as they attacked the returning convoy of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum on Sunday 27 September 2020.

This makes it a third attack on the governor’s convoy around Baga.
