Kamala Harris makes history as first female black Vice-President in US

Joe Biden has been sworn in on Wednesday 20th January 2021 as the 46th President of the United States, taking the reins of a country divided after four years of Donald Trump.

His Vice-President, Kamala Harris is also marking history, as the first woman to hold the second-highest job in the US and the first person of colour.

She is also making history by bringing her blended family to a forefront, a family situation shared with many Americans.
