‘Nigerians can use VPN to access Twitter’ – Farooq Kperogi tells FG

Nigerian columnist, Farooq Kperogi has said on Friday that Nigerians can use Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access Twitter.

The former Journalist said this via Twitter after the Nigerian Govt. announced that they have suspended Twitter indefinitely in the West Africa nation.

He called out the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, and those in government, stating that they are “ignorant, prehistoric creatures”

Kperogi said: “Does Lai Mohammed know that there’s a little something called VPN that Nigerians can use to circumvent the Federal Government’s so-called ban on Twitter in Nigeria?

“These ignorant, prehistoric creatures in gov’t never cease to amaze with their insufferable boneheadedness,” he added.

Twitter is currently still operational in Nigeria as of the time of writing this report.
